Welcome to a new life with your dog

I’m glad you’re here

Hi, I’m Amanda Cox, and I understand how overwhelming it can feel when the dog you love behaves in ways that disrupt your home or life. I’m here to turn your frustrations in to calm, enjoyable companionionship. My approach is built on clear communication, mutual respect, and real-life strategies to give you your ideal companion. Whether you are starting with a spirited puppy or looking to help your adult dog unlearn some long-standing habits, I’m here to help you create lasting, positive change.

Puppy Fundamentals

Good habits. Right from the start.

Raising a puppy is a joyful and rewarding experience. It can also feel overwhelming without the right guidance. Puppy Fundamentals is designed to help you build a strong foundation of trust, communication, and relationship.

BOARD & TRAIN

All the results. None of the work.

Press reset on your dog’s behavior with a customized Board & Train program. At The Possible K9, your dog lives and trains right alongside my family in a real home environment and comes back to your home with a new outlook on how to behave.

With balanced dog training, we train with corrections and treats--like in this close-up of a dog with brown and white fur holding a chew treat in its mouth, being handed to it by a person.

Amanda Cox - Founder of The Possible K9

Balanced Trainer. Relationship Builder. Dog Owner, Just Like You.

As a balanced trainer, my methods are rooted in clear communication, fairness, and respect for both dog and owner. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter solutions. Instead, I take a personalized, real-life approach to help you and your dog work together as a team. My training is goal-driven, results-focused, and tailored to your unique lifestyle, not just obedience drills.

In addition to working with companion dogs, I actively train and compete with my German Shepherd, Lucas, in American Schutzhund—a challenging, high-level sport that tests a dog’s obedience, scent work and protection skills. Competing in sport pushes me to continually refine my timing, clarity, and communication—and these same skills directly benefit the pet owners I work with every day.

But more importantly, I believe in empowering you as the handler. My job isn’t just to train your dog—it’s to coach you in understanding your dog better, communicating clearly, and building habits that last long after our sessions end.

Whether you choose in-home coaching, our immersive board & train program, or puppy raising support, you can count on training that’s honest, effective, and built around your goals.

Because dog training isn’t just about fixing problems. It’s about creating a calm, confident partnership—one you can rely on, every single day.

When you believe in what’s possible, so does your dog.

I’d be honored to help you take the next step.
